As reported by various media outlets across North Central West Virginia, Simmerman Law Office, PLLC recently filed a Complaint against the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia and various Clarksburg City Council members in the Circuit Court of Harrison County, West Virginia alleging that the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia used malicious, oppressive, corrupt, discriminatory and retaliatory actions during a recent vote to suspend its City Manager, Martin Howe.  It is further alleged in the lawsuit that the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia committed various violations of the West Virginia Whistleblower Act in changing the conditions of Martin Howe’s employment with the City of Clarksburg, West Virginia based upon Mr. Howe’s report and investigation of alleged wrongdoing by one of the conspiring Defendants in the suit against the City of Clarksburg.
