BURN VICTIM FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST CHEMICAL COMPANIES IN CIRCUIT COURT OF MARION COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA

Per a recent press release, Simmerman Law Office, PLLC filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Marion County, West Virginia against various chemical companies and manufacturers alleging that the chemical manufacturers and suppliers were negligent and/or introduced a defective product into the consumer marketplace, causing significant injury to a Fairmont, West Virginia consumer. 

According to the Complaint, the Plaintiff in the lawsuit suffered severe burns to her facial area and exposure to toxic substances as a result of the introduction of defective chemical products into the marketplace, leading to a diagnosis of Retroactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome – an asthma-like syndrome related to chemical exposure. 

The Plaintiff is seeking all damages permitted by West Virginia law, including damages for medical bills, lost wages and benefits. The plaintiff is also seeking damages for pain and suffering as well as other allowable damages, including mental anguish, annoyance and inconvenience.
